Willow Fluid explores the movement between thought and nature — the way our inner world shifts, responds and finds its own rhythm, much like water moving through a landscape. Each mark is a gesture, a decision, or an instinctive response to what came before, allowing the painting to unfold through a continuous dialogue between mind and matter.
Built point by point, layers of colour and texture accumulate across the canvas, moving between density and openness. The flowing greens and luminous yellow evoke the movement of nature, while the changing surface reflects the constant movement of our own thoughts and feelings.
